Kavya Madhavan was born in Kerala, India in September, 1984. Madhavan's nickname is "Minu”, and she is a famous Bollywood Film Actress in India. Madhavan also won the "Best Star Pair" award for the film “Meesha Madhavan” at the Asianet Film Awards in 2003.

There have been widespread rumors of the existence of a Kavya Madhavan Blue Film, however these rumors have never actually been proven. It has been reported that because of the existence of the film, Kavya Madhavan attempted to commit suicide on June 14, 2008 .
