Her grandparents are the late actors Jack Cassidy and Evelyn Ward. Cassidy was romantically linked to singer, Jesse McCartney.

• Acting Career

  Cassidy began her career as a model. She modeled for famous labels such as Abercrombie and Fitch and Rock and Republic. In 2005, she landed a role in 7th Heaven as Zoe. Later that year, she guest starred in the drama Sex, Love & Secrets. From there, she played in When a Stranger Calls, Click, Black Christmas, Live!, and Supernatural. Her recent work include the films Taken and Harpers Island. She has been cast in the rework of A Nightmare On Elm Street which is due in theaters in April of 2010.
