Kathy Griffin is an American comedian, actress, and self-described D-list celebrity. She is best known for the brazen celebrity and pop culture commentary she uses in her stand-up routines.
Life and Career

Griffin began her comedy career in the early 1980s in Los Angeles, where she gradually transitioned from stand-up to TV and film roles. Her first notable role was on the NBC sitcom Suddenly Susan in 1996. She has also guest-starred on such series as Seinfeld and Ugly Betty and has had several HBO stand-up specials. Currently, Griffin stars in the Emmy Award-winning reality show My Life on the D-List that chronicles her everyday life.
