  • Kathy Etchingham was a former girlfriend of rock legend Jimi Hendrix in the 1960s. When Vivid Entertainment claimed it had a sex tape featuring the late guitarist, Etchingham denied it was Hendrix, saying he was "very shy."
  • Accusations and Allegations

    Etchingham has accused another of Hendrix's former girlfriends, German artist Monika Dannemann, of contributing to his death. Hendrix died on September 18, 1970, and the exact circumstances surrounding his death remain unclear. Hendrix was at Dannemann's apartment when he was found, and a coroner later ruled he'd asphyxiated.
