  • Career Highlights

Moss was discovered waiting at JFK Airport in New York City at age 14, and immediately started appearing in numerous print advertisement campaigns for major designer labels such as Calvin Klein, Dolce & Gabbana, Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent, Dior and Gucci. Her initial razor-thin appearance led her to be named the "Anti-Supermodel" during the 1990s. Much speculation in the early part of her career centered around her weight, but Moss always refuted claims of being bulimic. Moss has repeatedly appeared on "Top 100 Sexiest" lists in men's magazines over the years. In addition to her print work, Moss has appeared in music videos for Elton John, The White Stripes and Johnny Cash.
  • Drug Issues

Moss has often been a target of the British tabloids, long accused of having indulged in cocaine usage. In September of 2005, a cover photo of the Daily Mirror shows Moss purportedly using cocaine. Though she has never public admitted to using the recreational drug, Moss did enter a drug rehabilitation facility in Arizona a month later. She was questioned but not charged with cocaine possession in 2006 and cleared of any wrongdoing, but the damage to her career was severe, as she lost many contracts and product affiliations.
