In an interview with People Magazine in May of 2009, Gosselin revealed that her marriage with husband Jon may be in trouble. Jon was recently accused of having an affair with a 23-year-old woman named Deanna Hummel. Kate stated about her and Jon, "I don't know that we're in the same place anymore, that we want the same thing." Rumors surfaced in early May of 2009 that Gosselin is having an affair with her body guard Steve Neild. Gosselin states that the rumors are "disgusting, unthinkable, unfathomable and that she is horrified." In June of 2009, In Touch magazine released photos they claim shows Gosselin spanking her five-year-old daughter Leah in public.
