Kat Dennings is an American actress born on June 13, 1986, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She was born on the same day as the Olson twins, and is the youngest of five children. Before her career as an actress, Kat was home-schooled by her mother. This decision was made after she had trouble being away from her mother while attending pre-school. After a short appearance on Sex and the City, Kat moved to Los Angeles with her family to pursue acting, even though her parents did not think she would be successful.
