Kashmir Bomb

  • At least 15 people were wounded on Wednesday, March 19, 2008 when a bomb was set off in the Kashmir city of Srinagar. No militant group has claimed responsibility for the explosion.

    According to police spokesman Pervez Ahmed, "Militants planted an improvised explosive device on a flyover that exploded, causing injuries." A wall of the overpass collapsed sending piles of concrete onto cars and commuters.
