Outside linebacker Karlos Dansby plays pro football for the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League.
On February 18, 2009, the Cardinals used their franchise tag on Dansby. The tag guarantees him at least a $9.7 million salary for the 2009 season, 20 percent more than he made in 2008. Early Years
Dansby attended Woodlawn High School in Birmingham, Alabama, where he was an all-state linebacker and wide receiver.

Pro Career
Dansby was selected by the Cardinals in the second round (33rd overall) in the 2004 NFL draft. In 2005, he became the first Cardinal linebacker to record two interception returns for touchdowns in a single season and finished the year with the first 100+ tackle season of his career with 103.

The Cardinals however fell to the Steelers 27 to 23.
