The Denver Years
2005 - 2008
Paymah was drafted with the expectation that he would be starting within 2 years. Things didn't quite work out that way as he struggled to adjust to the pro game. He played on special teams and in nickel and dime coverages during his first two years, starting zero games and registering a total of 40 tackles. In 2007 he started three games and played in all but one. By years end he had registered 22 tackles, as well as a career high 2 interceptions and 5 passes defensed. The next year Paymah would play in every single game, starting in two of them. He would be elevated to the regular nickel back, and registered 39 tackles along with 5 passes defensed and 1 interception. Paymah's contract expired after the 2008 season and he was not resignedhttp://washingtonstate.scout.com/a.z?s=137&p=9&c=2&cid=954838&nid=4234146&fhn=1.
