Karina Smirnoff is a five-time U.S. National Champion Ukranian dancer currently in the limelight because of her performances on the American version of Dancing with the Stars.
Smirnoff underwent knee surgery in early 2009 to repair a torn meniscus. Smirnoff received the injury on the Dancing With the Stars tour. The dancer made this comment about her surgery, "I feel great. I'm walking around easily, doing my physical therapy.
