Kareem McKenzie

Professional football offensive tackle Kareem McKenzie plays in the National Football League for the New York Giants. McKenzie was arrested on November 13, 2008, in New Jersey under suspicion of DUI. McKenzie began his career playing college football with the Penn State Nittany Lions. He was selected as All-Big Ten three times, becoming the fifth Nittany Lion to do so. Following college, McKenzie was drafted 79th overall in the 2001 NFL draft by the New York Jets. He joined the Jets for his NFL debut in 2001, playing in eight games. Following the 2004 season, McKenzie entered the free agency and signed with the New York Giants. He was limited to 14 games in 2005 and 15 games in 2006 with a hamstring injury and migraine headaches.
