Engagement
DioGuardi and her boyfriend, Mike McCuddy, became engaged on December 8, 2008, during their vacation in Mexico. DioGuardi had this to say about her engagement, "I was in, of course, my thermal smiley-face pajamas that one of my best friends gave me for Christmas. He said, 'I have a question: Do you know where my shoes are?'" After answering that she didn't know where his shoes were, McCuddy asked, "All right, well then will you marry me?"
