Kanye West's listening party for 808s and Heartbreak, the rapper's new album, featured a live art show consisting of at least 40 female models posing in the nude in various positions. The show was designed by Vanessa Beecroft, an Italian artist.MTV: Kanye West's Naked Party
Bodyguards watched over the models during the party. The ladies, of black and white race, wore wigs that obstructed their faces. Some critics suggested that the show may have been giving a homage to Jimi Hendrix's Electric Ladyland album art, or presented a kind of a social commentary.
