Kanye West was engaged to girlfriend Alexis Phifer for over a year and a half. However, the couple officially announced the end of their relationship on April 21, 2008. Rumors began to spread once Phifer was spotted on the red carpet without her engagement ring. The couple had been dating on and off since 2002 and got engaged in late 2006. The relationship began to take a turn for the worst in November 2007 when their alleged wedding was called off upon the sudden death of West's mother Donda West. Fast Facts:
