  • The Kansas State University Wildcats football team plays college football in the North Division of the Big 12 Conference. The school plays home games at their campus stadium known as Bill Snyder Family Stadium in Manhattan. The team won the Big 12 championship in 2003.

    After decades of futility as a program, the Wildcats hired Bill Snyder as head coach in 1989, and Snyder led a complete transformation of the program into a winner. Under Snyder's guidance, the Wildcats posted 11 winning seasons in a 17 year span, including a run of 11 consecutive bowl game appearances.
