Kane and Lynch Mission 14 Within the Walls

  • This is Part 6 of our complete Kane and Lynch: Dead Men Walkthrough, featuring Chapter 14 - Within the Walls, Chapter 15 - Choice, Chapter 16 - Consequence.

  • Chapter 14 - Within the Walls

    1. You start off with a sniper rifle. To zoom in, aim and press up on the directional pad and down to zoom out. You need to cover Carlos so he can reach the gate to plant a mine.
    2. First shoot the soldier in the tower to the left, then the single patrolling soldier.
    3. TIP: Aim for his body since the glare from the light might make you miss a headshot. The sniper kills in one hit no matter where the bullet lands.
    4. Move forward and there will be three soldiers standing around a campfire.
    5. TIP:Try to position yourself so that you can get the two standing farthest to each other in one shot. If not, just pick them off.
    6. Keep going forward and kill the two soldiers outside of the gate, then send Carlos in.
    7. Once he's in, keep going alongside the ridge and climb up the hills until you reach the ledge to rappel off of.
    8. TIP:Snipe off as many enemies as you can and order your men to rappel down while you do it. Once you are out of ammo or start dying, rappel down and take out the guard and take his gun if he is still alive. Get on the mounted machinegun on the military jeep and mow down the soldiers ahead.
    9. Clear the area and move on. Watch out for the soldier in the tower.
    10. There is a sniper down to the right. Throw some smoke grenades and move up close enough to kill him.
    11. Around the corner is a courtyard full of enemies you will have to get past.
    12. TIP: Lob in some grenades to hopefully clear some out. Have Rific and Shelly cover you from the entrance while you and Lynch move to the right and go up the stairs to the walkway above. From here, you will have good shots at anyone below.
    13. Kill them all then move on. You will need to attack the hacienda to the right of you.
    14. TIP: Throw a smoke grenade out the door and move to the left. Take out the two soldiers closest to you and order your men forward. Throw a smoke grenade into the middle of the area and move left. Kill anyone you can see and from here you have a good shot at the soldiers in the windows. Once they are down, rush the building.
    15. When they are all dead, go in. You will find your daughter, Jenny, sitting down. Go up to her and you will find that it is a trap. While The7 lecture you, shoot the mine on the ground to the right, next to the dead body. Use the pillars as cover and sprint to the doorway to the left.
    16. Get in the car as the rebel instructs.

  • Chapter 15 - Choice

    1. This mission is mostly shooting from a moving vehicle.
    2. You will hit a roadblock with two cars.
    3. TIP: Shoot the one closest to you in front, then when you start moving again, aim left and shoot that car until it explodes.
    4. You will come to another roadblock of a couple cars. First shoot the mounted gun, then keep shooting the car until it explodes. Don't bother shooting the car that takes off.
    5. You pass a tunnel and find that it is the wrong way. Shoot the car on the hill, and when you reverse and go through the tunnel, shoot the soldier ahead and then there will be one to the left.
    6. Afterwards, you will come to the airbase. Shoot the tower on the right of the gate, then the big explosive tank. You will turn left- shoot the tower ahead.
    7. A car will drive parallel to you on the other side of the fence, shoot it.
    8. TIP: It may be hard to spot the towers ahead, so just wait for the rocket to fly at you and then destroy it quickly.
    9. You will eventually come out of the trail onto the airfield, shoot the soldier on the left.
    10. When you turn around, a car will come at you from the right. Hopefully you can destroy it before it passes. Shoot down the tower on the left, and then the car will drive away from you, so finish it off. Another tower will be on the left.
    11. After you destroy it, shoot at the propeller on the plane. When you pass under it, shoot the soldier on the left and then the jeep as you turn around. Then shoot the other propeller.
    12. The plane will attempt to take off and fail. Stay on the jeep's gun and take out the two cars that come at you, and then get off.
    13. Get out your gun and crouch. You will need to assault the back of the plane.
    14. TIP: Throw a grenade into the plane, and then shoot the legs of anyone inside. You will get gunfire from the cockpit, but don't shoot into it. If you kill Jenny, you fail. Instead, aim for the right side and kill him. Get your gun ready as you go in, because most likely there will be one soldier left with a shotgun waiting for you.
    15. Go up to Jenny and a short cut scene will occur.
    16. From here you have two choices:
    17. Fly off with Jenny, ending the story.
    18. Decide to go to the village to save your men. This will start a new chapter.

  • Chapter 16 - Consequence

    1. This chapter will only happen if you don't take the helicopter and go to the village.
    2. Take out the two soldiers on the car, and then take cover behind the wall and position Lynch behind the car.
    3. Stay there, shooting anyone you see, then move out. Get behind the wall and shoot anyone left. Keep moving until you get to the stairs.
    4. Start moving up with Lynch, and kill the soldier to the right behind the tombstone. Once you get all the way up, there will be many soldiers behind the tombstones. Shoot them and use a grenade.
    5. TIP: Move Lynch ahead of you so he takes more damage.
    6. When they are all dead, go up the stairs and into the church. You will get Shelly. Jenny will most likely get hit by now, so don't worry about it if she does.
    7. Take cover behind the wall and use a few grenades first, then shoot anyone below. Move down the stairs and kill anyone on the car down the next set of stairs.
    8. TIP: Take cover behind the wall, and have Shelly and Lynch attack most of the enemies while you cover them. Destroy the car and clear the area.
    9. Before going through the doorway, position Lynch on the other side and kill the two soldiers to the right, then kill the two to the left.
    10. Once they are down, go through the doorway and Jenny will get shot. This happens every time, and you can't avoid it. Kill all the enemies before picking her up.
    11. Run down the dock, and Shelly will ditch you and take a boat out of there. Get you and Lynch all the way down. Here, a cut scene will occur, ending the game.
    12. Congratulations on completing Dead Men!
