Gymnastics Career
Spring began gymnastics when he was three-years-old. He won his first national competition when he was 14-years-old, taking home first place on the pommel horse event at the 1998 Men's Junior Olympic National Championships.Official Olympic Site: Justin Spring Following high school, in 2002, Spring enrolled at the University of Illinois. Between 2004 and 2006, he won several collegiate gymnastics championships including four first place finishes at the NCAA Championships and three first place finishes at the Big Ten Championships.
