Justin Duchscherer

Justin Duchscherer is a Major League Baseball pitcher for the Oakland Athletics. He was drafted by the Boston Red Sox and played in their minor league organization for five years before being traded to the Texas Rangers for Doug Mirabelli.

Duchscherer is scheduled to have arthroscopic surgery on his elbow in early April of 2009. Although an official timetable for his return has not been announced, he is expected to miss the first month of the season.ESPN.com: Duchscherer Out At Least a Month
