Justin Cosby was was shot inside the entrance of Harvard University's Kirkland House shortly before 5:00 p.m. on May 18, 2009. Jabrai Jordan Copney, a 20-year-old song writer from New York City was charged with Cosby's murder. Copney's girlfriend was a Harvard student and her friend, Chanequa Campbell, was ordered to leave the campus on May 22, 2009, during the ongoing investigation.
