Synopsis
Justice League of America chronicles the adventures of the superhero team by the same name. The original concept of the series was to gather the most popular DC characters under one title.With Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, and other heroes featured, Justice League of America sold well until roster shakeups drove readers away.Comics 101: Justice League Where?!? (March 16, 2005) The first volume of the series was canceled in 1986.
Twenty years later, following the success of the JLA series, DC started a second volume of Justice League of America. The storylines have since taken place post-Infinite Crisis (where character origins were rewritten), and the original roster remains intact.
