  • June Anderson is a Grammy Award-winning opera singer from the United States. In 1978, Anderson made her professional debut as the "Queen of the Night" in Mozart's The Magic Flute at the New York City Opera.

    Anderson grew up in Wallingford, Connecticut, and attended Lyman Hall High School. After graduating from Yale University, Anderson went on to pursue her music career. In New York City, it was Robert Leonard who trained Anderson in singing. However, she had been studying voice since the age of eleven
