This day has seen a lot of ups and downs in history. One of the most notable events that occurred on July 7, was the bomb attacks on London. A series of bomb attacks on London’s transport network, which killed more than 30 people and injured 700 others. On a more positive note, Boris Becker won the Wimbledon championship in 1985. At 17 years of age, it made him the younger player ever to win Wimbledon. Not only was Becker the youngest to win the title, but he was also the first Germany-native to win as well breaking barriers four your athletes all over the world. Additionally, in 1930 the construction of the Hoover Dam began by Industrialist Henry J. Kaiser.
