Aspiring actress and model Julissa Brisman was murdered at the Marriot Copley Place hotel in Boston, on April 13, 2009. Brisman advertised masseuse services on Craigslist.com. Boston police arrested and charged 22-year-old medical student Phil Markoff for Brisman's murder and two other similar crimes. On April 23, 2009, authorities found Markoff's fingerprints on plastic restraints and duct tape at the scene of one of the crimes in question. Surveillance images reveal that the same blonde-haired man was at both hotels at the times Brisman was murdered and at the time another woman was robbed at gunpoint at a nearby hotel. In both incidents, the woman placed ads offering masseuse services on Craigslist. The mystery man appears clean-cut with blond hair. Craigslist Murders
A week prior to Brisman's murder, another woman was robbed at gunpoint at the Westin Hotel in Boston. Police said the man was recorded on surveillance cameras at both hotels. Call Girl?
On April 19, 2009, New York City madam Kristin Davis revealed that Brisman had worked for her at some point in the past. Apparently Brinsman hired on as a masseuse, but did not participate in selling sex.
