Juliette Binoche is an Academy Award winning French actress. She studied acting at the National School of Dramatic Art in Paris and first earned recognition for playing a modernized version of the Virgin Mary in Jean-Luc Godard's controversial Je Vous Salue, Marie (Hail Mary).
She gained international acclaim in The Unbearable Lightness of Being and won an Oscar for her role in The English Patient.
