Julie Delpy is an American actress, singer and screenwriter. She was born on December 21, 1969 in Paris, France. Her parents, Albert Delpy and Marie Pillet, were both in the acting business. Delpy began her acting career at the early age of five. She attended Tisch School of the Arts in New York where she studied filmmaking.
Acting Career
Delpy landed a role in the film Detective at the age of 14. She later played in the film Beatrice. In 1990, she appeared in Europa Europa as the character Leni. Since then, she has gone on to play in The Voyager, The Three Musketeers, Before Sunrise, An American Werewolf in Paris, Crime and Punishment, The Passion of Ayn Rand, Investigating Sex and Waking Life. Her more recent works include ER, Before Sunset, Broken Flowers, The Legend of Lucy Keyes, The Hoax, The Air I Breathe and 2 Days in Paris.
