Julie Christie

Politically active British actress Julie Christie has appeared in many Academy Award-nominated films, including: McCabe and Mrs. Miller, Doctor Zhivago and, most recently, Away From Her.

Since the early stages of her career, Julie Christie has been known as a choosy actor, selecting projects more for their character than their box-office marketability.
