    Chen began working for the CBS Morning News in 1989 as an office assistant. After becoming a producer at ABC NewsOne, she moved to WDTN-TV in Dayton, Ohio, as an anchor. In 1999, she moved back to New York City to co-anchor CBS Morning News and began The Early Show in 2002.
