• Endometriosis

  Endometriosis occurs when the tissue that lines the uterus is shed monthly and grows in areas outside of the uterus. Symptoms of this condition can include painful cramping, bleeding and chronic lower back and pelvic pain. The surgical options to remove the growths include, Laparoscopy (removal of the growths with a thin, lighted tube), Laparotomy (a large abdominal incision) and hysterectomy.
