John Charles Julian Lennon is an English singer, songwriter, and musician. Julian is the son of John Lennon and his first wife Cynthia. He enjoyed a moderately successful singing career during the 1980's. He signed with Atlantic Records and released his debut album, "Valotte", which produced four chart singles, including the song "Too Late for Goodbyes". The album also garnered him a Grammy Award nomination for Best New Artist.
In June 2009, Lennon revealed that his childhood playmate, who inspired the popular Beatles song "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds", was suffering from a chronic auto-immune disease.
