Julia Stiles is an American stage and screen actress. She was born on March 28, 1981 in New York City, New York. Stiles has three siblings, Jane, Johnny and Bridget O'Hara Koch. Stiles grew up in SoHo outside of Manhattan. She attended Columbia University where she majored in English and graduated in May of 2005. Stiles was romantically linked to actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt in 1999. A year later, she dated actor Joshua Jackson. Stiles is a baseball fan and roots for the New York Mets. Stiles had the privilege of throwing the ceremonial first pitch for her favorite team before their May 29, 2006 game.

Acting Career
Stiles made her film debut in I Love You, I Love You Not in 1996. She landed her first lead role in the film Wicked in 1998. From there she played in more well known films such as 10 Things I Hate About You, Down to You, Save the Last Dance, and State and Main. Her more recent works include The Bourne Supremacy, A Little Trip to Heaven, The Omen, and The Bourne Ultimatum.
