Julia Sawalha is a British Actresses actress who entered the British spotlight on the ITV program Press Gang about a group of kids the work at their school's news paper. It was a critical and popular success in the country.
Sawalha hit international stardom as Saffron Monsoon the uptight daughter of Eddie (played by Jennifer Saunders) on the BBC comedy Absolutely Fabulous. The comedy was a hit in the U.K. and garnered tremendous international success as well.
Most recently Sawalha attended Open University and acted in the BBC series Cranford.
