  • Buying Guide

When buying a juicer, ask if you can see it in action. Some juicers produce quite a bit of noise. It's a good idea to know how much noise before you make a purchase.

Cleaning can also be a factor for many people. Juicers are often constructed with grids and spouts that can be hard to get into. Take the juicer apart and see what parts will be in contact with the juice and processed fruit.

Citrus juicers can only be used for citrus fruits while extraction juicers can be used with any fruit or vegetable. Extraction juicer can be quite strong; some are capable of juicing a slice of watermelon, rind and all. Know the juicers capabilities before you buy it.

As with any appliance check the length and coverage of the warranty. Although a good warranty machine may cost more it will save you money in the long run.
