Judy Davis is a critically acclaimed Australian actress who has appeared in dozens of films over the past three decades. She has been nominated for Best Actress for her role as Adela Quested in 1984's A Passage to India, and for Best Supporting Actress for her role as Sally in Woody Allen's 1992 film Husbands and Wives. Davis has won three Emmy Awards.

Brief Biography
Born in the far western Australian city of Perth, Davis graduated from Australia's National Institute of Dramatic Arts in 1977 and began appearing in Australian New Wave cinema. After being nominated for Best Actress for her role in A Passage to India, Davis starred in several Australian and American movies over the next decade, including in Joel and Ethan Coen's 1991 film Barton Fink and the 1991 David Cronenberg adaptation of William S. Burroughs's novel Naked Lunch. She has won three Emmys, including one for her portrayal of Nancy Reagan in the controversial miniseries The Reagans. Davis makes her home in Perth with her husband, fellow actor Colin Friels.
