About Judge Dredd
In the future world Judge Dredd inhabits, the police and judicial arms of law enforcement have merged. As such, police officers are judge, jury, and executioner rolled into one. Judge Dredd is one such judge, arresting and often killing criminals without a trial. Such measures prove necessary, however, as most of the earth's population lives in giant super-cities due to uninhabitable conditions in onmost of the earth's land. Furthermore, future criminals have advanced technology at their disposal, with some using it to enhance themselves into beings with super powers. There are even extra-dimensional horrors who mimic the forms of judges in his world, with one such horror, a demon who calls himself Judge Death often acting as Dredd's primary adversary.
