Juanes is a popular Colombian singer-songwriter, guitarist, arranger and producer of Rock and Latin pop music. He performed with John Legend at the 2009 NBA All-Star Game.
Career
Born in Colombia in 1972, Juanes learned to play the Guitar (as well as a variety of other traditional Latin instruments) at an early age.All Music: Juanes Biography After a number of years playing with the successful Heavy Metal band Ekhymosis, Juanes went solo in 2000 and released his debut album, Fíjate Bien. The success of that album, and its follow-up Un Día Normal, helped propel Juanes to the top of the Latin American music charts.
