Born in Colombia in 1972, Juanes learned to play the Guitar (as well as a variety of other traditional Latin instruments) at an early age.All Music: Juanes Biography After a number of years playing with the successful Heavy Metal band Ekhymosis, Juanes went solo in 2000 and released his debut album, Fíjate Bien.
