    In 2003 Del Potro received wildcards to three ITF Circuit events in Argentina. In 2005 he won the first professional match at the ITF circuit event held at Buenos Aires 2006 qualified for 2006 French Open, his first Grand Slam. The same year he qualified for his first US open and played the quarterfinals of the 2006 Davidoff Swiss Indoors in Basel, Switzerland 2008 Del Potro won four titles and finished in the top 10 for the first time. 2009 he made up to semi final of French Open. He defeated Nadal in Masters 1000 in Montreal And he is the 2009 US open championship defeating the No1. Roger Federer.
