Joven Pineda Deala was the half-brother of Black Eyed Peas member apl.de.ap. He was killed on February 2, 2009 while in the Philippines. The local newspapers repots, Deala was shot in the head during the early hours of the morning while in his car. While no suspect was named, officials are seeking at least two people in connection with the crime.
There have been several rumors surrounding the circumstances of Deala's death.
