Josiah Leming was a contestant on the seventh season of American Idol. While the performer did not make it into the top 24 contestants of the season, he did eventually get a recording contract with Warner Brothers Records.Page Six (New York Post): No Idol Threat Over Album (October 20, 2008) Idol producers have since tried to block the release of the album, citing that the artist had signed a contract that gives Sony/BMG (in coordination with American Idol producers) first opportunity to record with Leming.
