Joshua Munns's remains have been found, the U.S> government reported on March 27, 2008. He was kidnapped in November 2006, along with John Roy Young, Jonathon Cote, Paul Reuben, and Bert Nussbaumer. They were guarding a convoy near the Kuwait border when they were ambushed by men dressed as Iraqi security officers. His family was reassured about his condition in early March 2008, when it was reported one of Joshua's fingers had been sent to U.S. officials in Iraq, along with fingers of several of the other hostages. John Roy Young, as well as Ronald Withrow, who was kidnapped at a later date, were found dead on March 21, 2008.
