Career
Inspired by artists like Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan, Ritter sings mainly narrative folk music, a subject which he studied at Oberlin College.His second album, Golden Age of Radio, proved to be his breakthrough. Under the guidance of Jim Olsen, head of Signature Sounds, the album became a hit in Ireland. Ritter's subsequent albums released through the early 2000s were met with critical praise.
Ritter continues to record and perform, notably singing with the Boston Pops Orchestra in 2008.
