    Born and raised in Louisiana, Josh Reed was a high school standout, and opted to attend LSU. Reed had a prolific college career, setting multiple records as a receiver. In 2001, Reed was a consensus all-American, and broke the record for most receiving yards in a single game and season in the SEC. At the 2002 NFL Combine Reed ran a 4.54 second 40-yard dash. He was selected by the Bills in the second round of the NFL draft in the same year. Reed made an immediate impact at the receiver position in Buffalo. In his rookie season, Reed was named the starter and became the second option for, then, quarterback Drew Bledsoe. In his five years in Buffalo, Reed has attained 228 receptions, 2,687 yards, and eight touchdowns.
