  • Josh Fields is an infielder for the Chicago White Sox. After attending Oklahoma State University, where fields was a star quarterback on the football team and Big 12 Conference All-Star at third base, the White Sox selected him in the 1st round of the 2004 amateur draft. Fields was the 18th overall selection in the draft. After a couple of years as a minor league prospect in the White Sox farm system, fields made his major league debut on September 13, 2006. His first big league hit was a pinch hit home run off of Brandon McCarthy of the Texas Rangers.
