Josh Evans is the fictional MySpace persona allegedly created by Lori Drew who perpetrated a prank on 13-year-old Megan Meier which led to her suicide. Lori, as Josh, pretended to be interested in Megan, and initiated an online relationship with her. After a month, "he" turned on Megan, taunting and rejecting her.

Lori Drew was indicted on May 15, 2008, charged with one count of conspiracy and three counts of accessing protected computers without authorization to obtain information to inflict emotional distress.
