Joseph Petcka is an actor in New York City who is on trial for killing his girlfriend's cat, Norman. His girlfriend Lisa Altobelli is a writer for Sports Illustrated. Petcka had a small role in the HBO TV show Sex and the City and has appeared in other shows as well.
Petcka has admitted to kicking and hitting Norman, but said he did not mean to kill him. The incident that led to Norman's death occurred on March 27, 2008.
