Jose Offerman Punches Umpire

Former MLB player and All-Star Jose Offerman punched first base umpire Daniel Rayburn during a game in the Dominican Republic. Daniel Rayburn, Jayson Bradley, Justin Vogel and Barry Larson all gave notice on January 17th after they had received threats from fans. Jose Offerman has been in trouble for attacking on the field before, In 2007 while playing for the Long Island Ducks of the Independent Minor League, Offerman attacked Bridgeport Bluefish catcher John Nathans with a bat.
