Former MLB player and All-Star Jose Offerman punched first base umpire Daniel Rayburn during a game in the Dominican Republic. Jose Offerman has been in trouble for attacking on the field before, In 2007 while playing for the Long Island Ducks of the Independent Minor League, Offerman attacked Bridgeport Bluefish catcher John Nathans with a bat.
