Jose Luis Macias

Jose Luis Macias died after being shot multiple times while driving on the 101 freeway near downtown Los Angeles on December 12, 2008. After the shooting, Macias was taken to hospital, but succumbed to his wounds two days later. Mysterious Circumstances

Four days after the shooting, police had virtually no insight into the victim and had not determined a motive for the crime. An employee of Dream Motor Cars in Beverly Hills confirmed that the Bentley had been purchased shortly before the shooting, but would not name the buyer, although police confirmed that the car was not registered under Macias' name. No one witnessed the shooting and there are no surveillance cameras along the particular stretch of highway where the crime was committed.
