He is also part of the core nucleus of Yankees, including Derek Jeter, Bernie Williams and Mariano Rivera which won four World Series Championships.

Early Life
Jorge Rafael Posada Villeta was born in Santurce, Puerto Rico on August 17, 1971. He attended Alejandrino High School in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He would move on to Calhoun Community College in Alabama where he was selected to the All-Conference team in 1991.Pro Career
Posada made his Major League debut on September 4, 1995 with the New York Yankees. He would be a core member of the championship squad which won four World Series titles in 1996, 1998, 1999, and 2000. He would also be elected to 5 All-Star Teams and win 5 Silver Slugger Awards. In 2007, he signed a 4 year contract with the Yankees, hoping to retire with the only team he's ever played for in the Major Leagues.Jorge Posada Timeline
