Jorge Campillo is a professional baseball player originally from Mexico, who pitches for the Atlanta Braves organization.
Career
Campillo was signed by the Atlanta Braves as undrafted free agent on February 14, 1996; he was released in 1997. He pitched professionally in Mexico from 1998 until 2005 when he was signed by the Seattle Mariners. Campillo made his MLB debut in 2005, but only played for 2 games due to a strained right elbow. He underwent Tommy John surgery. Campillo became a free agent on November 2, 2007, and signed with the Braves on December 17, 2007.
